Our company founder, Richard Harding, has been in the HVAC business since 1974. He and his wife Kim started Harding Heating and Air Conditioning in 1994 in the basement of their home. Their commitment to providing the best possible solution for every client, and using choice products and top calibre workmanship for every installation was evident from the start. Harding quickly developed a reputation for quality, dependability and good installation, which made them popular within the new home construction sector.

They signed their first new home construction contract with Braebury Homes, a local Ottawa builder, and several more contracts followed. In 1997 the industry boomed, and Harding Heating and Air Conditioning expanded to be one of the largest new home construction contractors in Ottawa. They developed strong service and home comfort divisions to maintain personal and professional care in helping their customers with all of their home comfort needs.

If the compressor in your air conditioner fails twice in the first 5 years, we will install a completely new outdoor unit. If the heat exchanger in your furnace fails in the first ten years, we will install a new furnace. Proper registration is required.

We offer a 10-year parts and labour warranty on all our furnaces and air conditioners maintained to manufacturer standards to ensure your continuing home comfort. We also offer specialized warranties which include:

All property, such as lawns, shrubbery, carpeting, floors, walls, furniture and door frames, are protected. Damaged property will be replaced or repaired. Protective shoe covers and hall runners will be used on all work and traffic areas.

We are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If service is required, we guarantee a same day appointment by a highly qualified and courteous technician (with our exclusive Platinum membership).

We guarantee that your heating and/or cooling system will be installed on time as scheduled, or we will give you a free 5-year maintenance package.

You will not pay until you are 100% satisfied with the service we have provided.

We guarantee that repairs on your equipment are fixed right or the repair is free. If a repair fails during the same season, we will repair it again absolutely free.
