Guinness Rib-Eye Steak
Rich, robust, and infused with the beloved flavour of Guinness! This dish delivers a true taste of Irish tradition to your BBQ.
Ingredients:
- 2 8-ounce (225-gram) rib-eye steaks
- 4 ounces (120 milliliters) Guinness stout beer (room temperature)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) Vidalia onion (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) shallots (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) fresh tarragon (chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 1/2 milliliters) dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 1/2 milliliters) freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 1/2 milliliters) salt
Instructions:
- Mix: Combine Guinness, soy sauce, Worcestershire, mustard, garlic, shallots, onion, tarragon, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Let sit for 30 minutes.
- Marinate: Place steaks in a resealable plastic bag with marinade. Refrigerate for 2 to 8 hours.
- Grill: Preheat the grill. Cook steaks 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
- Simmer: Warm the reserved marinade in a saucepan over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, stirring until thickened.
- Serve: Plate the steaks with the rich, warm sauce.
Irish Potato Salad

Ingredients:
- 6 large white potatoes
- 1 tablespoon salt
For the Dressing:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon minced green onion
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 3 to 4 strips bacon (cooked, crumbled)
- 1 medium dill pickle (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Cook Potatoes: Peel, slice, and boil potatoes in salted water for 20-22 minutes. Drain, cool in an ice bath for 10-15 minutes, then cube.
- Mix Dressing: In a large bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, green onion, garlic, dill pickle, bacon, salt, and black pepper.
- Combine: Toss potatoes with the dressing until fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
